Hever Castle & Gardens

Hever Castle & Gardens is a popular tourist attraction with a successful 5* gold bed and breakfast as well as a popular golf course.

The romantic double moated castle in Kent is famous for being the childhood home of Anne Boleyn, second wife of Henry VIII. Its splendid panelled rooms contain fine furniture, tapestries, an important collection of Tudor portraits and artefacts including two Books of Hours signed and inscribed by Anne Boleyn.

Discover magnificent award-winning gardens set in 150 acres of glorious grounds. No matter what time of year you visit you are guaranteed a breath-taking display. The award-winning gardens include the Italian Garden with its 38-acre lake and the spectacular Loggia with its very own Trevi Fountain.

Children can enjoy the playground areas with climbing frames, swings and an aerial runway. There’s the Tudor Towers Adventure Playground – a nine metre tall wooden play castle, bigger than a four bedroom house and complete with its own moat, drawbridge and three turrets and younger visitors will be able to explore a natural play area, Acorn Dell.

Other attractions include a 100-year old Yew Maze, the thrilling Water Maze, a fascinating collection of miniature model houses, Garden Exhibition and Military Museum
