Sevenoaks Suns Basketball Club
Founded in 2005, the Sevenoaks Suns Basketball Club has a strong focus on its wide community base of 300 members. We have a great appreciation for the effort of our committed coaches, and all the volunteers and sponsors helping the Club to thrive. The Suns' Junior Academy is offering coaching sessions for all, advanced training, and opportunities to compete in Local tournaments and The National League. We are very proud of our Men's Teams and our Women's Professional Team, which is the most successful team in the history of the Women British Basketball League.
Our goal is to use basketball as a "vehicle" to educate young people and help them develop into mature, confident, and self-motivating individuals by creating a safe, supportive, and inspirational environment for players from all backgrounds and experiences.
At Sevenoaks Suns, we learn to work constructively as part of a team; we understand the focus, discipline, effort, and commitment required to achieve excellence; we respond well to challenges, both on and off-court.
